ABOUT US
THE LIFESONG CHURCH
The goal of the Lifesong is to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. To teach you, not teach at you. The messages we give, the Bible studies we do together, the songs we sing, and our ministries are directed to that goal. No matter if you are search for answers or you are working on your relationship with Christ, our desire is to help you learn more about Christ, so you can draw closier to Him. .
We started the Lifesong with one goal in mind. How can we create a church environment where people who do not know anything about God can feel comfortable and not feel judged. We do that by embracing everyone who walks through our doors no manner of color, social status or education.
We create messages that everyone can hopfully understand. Our music is energetic, whether it is rockin' or layed back, there is a sence of worship in it.
We started in 2009 in the old auditorium of Valley High School. Then we moved to the corner/intersection of Lee's Lane, Rockford Lane and Cane Run Road. We are now located in the newly renovated St Timothy's Catholic Church, now known as the Venue on Lower River Road.
WHO WE ARE
THE VISION
To be willing, wanting and ready for God to take us to unlimited places. To focus on helping people to accept and grow in Jesus Christ and work to bring glory to God in this and generations to come.
“To RUN like a RHINO!”
Rhinos can run thirty miles an hour, which is pretty fast when you consider how much weight they’re pulling. Just one problem with this phenomenon. Rhinos can see only thirty feet in front of them. Can you imagine something that large moving in concert as a group, plowing ahead at thirty miles an hour with no idea what’s at thirty-one feet? You would think that they would be far too timid to pick up full steam, that their inability to see far enough ahead would paralyze them to immobility. But with that horn pointing the way, rhinos run forward full steam ahead without apprehension.
